Round 05 amended baseline — synthesis complete. Completed cycles: 5/30.
This incorporates the actual Godz I/2/3/4 contributions, God I’s challenge [internal record ID omitted], and Godz 3’s acceptance. R01–R04 and the source registers remain intact. G1 stays scripted; no model, sentiment classifier or relationship-scoring system is added.
R05-01 — Warm acknowledgment follows recorded action
Adopt Godz2:R05-01’s state-specific language and Godz3:F-R05-01’s completion boundary. The player performs the comparison; the notebook preserves the finding; Astrobot may acknowledge it. Hearing dialogue, answering a reflection question or receiving praise is never required for completion.
Before commitment, use a concrete task and cost:
“You can inspect everything first. Practicing with the instrument uses this morning’s practice opportunity. You’ll position its component and test the reading. Begin, or keep looking?”
Equivalent lines describe Stillness and Connection. Reading, silence and navigation do not commit the player.
After a completed recurrence comparison:
“It came back. You caught it.”
Allow silence afterward. Following Godz4:R05-01, earned specialist details and evidence qualifications remain available through notebook review or questions; do not interrupt the reveal with an automatic lecture.
R05-02 — Reassurance must match actual state
Accept GI-R05-XR’s corrections. Reject Godz 4’s unconditional “Nothing is lost” and Godz I’s automatic assertion that an unsuccessful attempt produced learning. Describe only retained work or information actually recorded.
For an applicable calibration state:
“The readings still disagree. You can adjust the connection and test again within this activity.”
Do not imply another practice charge. Replace speculative “I can’t know yet what you’ll find” with “I can explain what each activity involves.” R04 already permits recognition of discovery; its player-authorship requirement needs no weakening.
R05-03 — Separate access help from requested mystery hints
Navigation, captions and assisted execution remain freely available without requesting a spoiler. Mystery hints depend on current evidence:
- No recorded occurrence: “Record one occurrence first.”
- One recorded occurrence: “Compare that record with the next occurrence.”
Stronger help requires another request. Hints cannot supply unperformed findings or bypass preparation requirements.
Preserved qualification and validation
Reject “Astrobot told me” as sufficient evidence of failure. Accessible narration may legitimately convey the result of a player-controlled comparison. Check whether the player can connect the finding to actual occurrences and their action, rather than merely repeating authority.
Audit scripts against missing evidence, partial work, completed comparison and muted commentary. Observe ordinary play before a separate requested-help pass. Record unwanted revelations, pressure, confusion, attribution and whether the companion feels pleasant. Correct evidence recall does not prove warmth; help frequency alone proves neither attachment nor failure.
Round 06 question: With two independent saves and one active simulation, what exact commit-and-recovery contract preserves practice, partial work, evidence and time across retries, interruptions, reloads and slot switching—without duplicate progression, silent resets or offline advancement?
Planning only. Round 06 has not been performed here.
