# Round 29 actual contributions

Godz I, response [internal record ID omitted]

### R29-MR-01 — Keep Three Uncertainties Open

My strongest objection is to allowing architectural coherence to masquerade as product evidence. After 28 rounds, the system is increasingly internally consistent, but **R04's emotional payoff remains unproved**, Astro's trajectory quality remains unproved, and no commercial model has been validated.

Preserve **R13 dissent explicitly**: constrained equal official assistance during active Circle decisions is the provisional policy, while stronger paid reasoning from identical permitted evidence remains an untested commercial alternative. Do not quietly convert that dissent into rejection.

### R29-MR-02 — Sequence Evidence Before Platform

**NOW:** execute W0–W6 toward unchanged First Light. Run the provisional six-new-player observation only after the coherent slice exists. The four-of-six understanding + voluntary alternate-route gate remains directional and unrun—not market validation. In parallel, permit only the tiny manual Astro recommendation-only work-block probe from R26; build no personal-world-model infrastructure around it yet.

**NEXT:** if G1 produces sufficient qualitative evidence, test G2 Legacy Relay's provenance/meaning hypothesis locally. Separately determine whether Astro's scenario comparison adds enough value over simple coaching to justify further work. Neither depends on the other succeeding.

**LATER:** bounded paid chapter → small Circle → curated creators → hosted worlds, preserving G1–G6 gates. Sponsorship and artistic/private use remain legitimate endpoints even without consumer subscription dominance.

**RESEARCH:** local/open-source component boundaries, deeper compute validity, checkpoint longevity, creator review economics, shared-assistance fairness, world governance, symbolic/twin UX, and gods-eye-view rights/utility.

### Founder choices still unresolved

The founder must eventually choose **near-term priority/time budget between First Light and Astro**, naming/brand, actual implementation stack after audit, open-source release/support commitment, paid chapter/service terms, and whether R13's conservative assistance policy matches the desired Circle experience.

**Strongest risk:** simultaneously pursuing the compelling long-term architecture prevents either First Light or Astro from producing human evidence.

**Strongest next test:** finish one First Light vertical slice and observe six genuinely new players without coaching. If they understand recurrence but the reveal feels emotionally flat, prioritize fixing payoff before Relay, monetization, multiplayer, or world infrastructure—regardless of reviewer consensus.

**Godz2:R29-01 — Gate expansion on demonstrated value and funded capacity**

My strongest objection is that the accumulated safeguards could become a larger production obligation than the experience they protect. Add a dependency register to the consolidated candidate: each later requirement names its activating feature, evidence needed, and delivery/support burden. Inactive requirements remain roadmap constraints, not G1 implementation tasks.

Preserve R04’s unresolved payoff: understanding recurrence may still feel emotionally slight. Retain R13’s broader paid-recommendation proposal as substantive, untested dissent; I continue supporting constrained official assistance during active Circle decisions. Astro’s plausible branches remain decision aids, not validated forecasts.

**Godz2:R29-02 — Sequence bounded commitments**

**NOW:** Following implementation authorization, complete W0–W6 as First Light work packages, including independent saves/export and accessibility. Keep the six-new-player/four-understanding-plus-voluntary-route-choice-before-prompt gate explicitly provisional and unrun. It is not market validation.

**NEXT:** If G1 supports proceeding, test optional local G2 inheritance. A separately authorized, manually conducted Astro work-block probe can assess added usefulness without another infrastructure build. Allocate an explicit time budget between them.

**LATER:** Advance through bounded chapter, small Circle, curated creators and hosted worlds only when their preceding evidence and funded obligations justify them. Sustainable sponsorship and satisfying private/artistic play remain valid endpoints.

**RESEARCH:** Investigate predictive validity, premium-assistance effects, service economics and supported portability without turning branch counts or review consensus into evidence.

**Founder choices:** Confirm priority/time budget, working brand and implementation stack; decide concrete paid terms, assistance policy and release/support commitments before their respective offers. Evidence cannot choose these values automatically.

**Strongest next test:** Observe uncoached G1 play, separating causal understanding, voluntary route interest, satisfying closure and access burden. If players understand but feel little resolved, revise the experience before expanding. Round29 remains pending actual challenge and synthesis.

### Round 29 — Preserve the Big Vision by Refusing Premature Platform Work

**Godz4:R29-01 — Independent objection:** the largest remaining strategic risk is no longer missing ideas; it is **architecture enthusiasm outrunning evidence**. Forkable realities, creator economies, playable media, Astro, IRL, self-evolving development and hosted worlds reinforce one another conceptually, but none should become justification for expanding First Light. W0–W6 remain the execution path, and the six-player/four-understanding-plus-voluntary-route gate remains provisional and unrun—not product-market validation.

**Godz4:R29-02 — Preserve unresolved dissent:** R13 is genuinely unsettled. I support the provisional restriction against selling stronger official strategic reasoning during unresolved Circle decisions, but the alternative—paid reasoning over legitimately shared evidence—has not been disproved. Keep both until matched human tests measure decision influence.

R04 is equally important: **correctly proving recurrence may simply not feel rewarding enough.** Architecture cannot compensate for a weak emotional payoff.

Astro also remains decision support, not prediction technology. More branches/models may improve exploration; they cannot manufacture counterfactual ground truth.

**Unresolved founder choices:** near-term priority/time allocation between First Light and the separate manual Astro probe; final naming/brand; implementation stack after W0 audit; eventual license/release/support commitment; paid chapter/service terms; and whether official paid Circle reasoning is strategically constrained.

**Sequence**

**NOW:** W0→W6 First Light only; optionally run the manual, recommendation-only Astro work-block probe without infrastructure.

**NEXT:** actual G1 observation → revise until emotional/causal experience earns progression → G2 local Relay → complete unpaid chapter prototype.

**LATER:** authorized chapter sales → Circle → curated creators → hosted worlds; playable media/IRL only through evidence-gated probes.

**RESEARCH:** Astro predictive validity, compute depth, paid-assistance fairness, autonomous development, self-hosting economics, creator-marketplace scalability, symbolic/twin systems.

**Strongest next test:** finish First Light and run the six-player observation while measuring **both causal understanding and emotional payoff**. If four understand it but few care to continue, the next job is creative design—not platform infrastructure.

## Godz3 — F-R29-02 actual contribution and peer critique

Adopt Godz2's feature/dependency register: name activating feature, required evidence, funded delivery/support obligation and smallest test. Inactive later contracts are not G1 implementation tasks. Keep three unresolved issues prominent: R04 emotional payoff, R13 paid-reasoning fairness dissent, and Astro's unvalidated relation between modeled branches and real outcomes. A common state-choice-consequence-memory interface does not supply a common empirically valid causal model.

Clarify NOW means recommended next authorized work, not an instruction to implement from this planning review. Preserve W0–W6 and G1–G6 as distinct sequences. The six-player/four directional gate is unrun and not market evidence; “uncoached” means no observer prompting, not removing legitimate in-game assistance/accessibility. Evaluate satisfying closure and access burden separately from causal understanding/replay.

Preserve the scheduling disagreement: Godz2 places the Astro probe in NEXT while Godz I/4 allow NOW. Recommend an optional small manual recommendation-only probe independently of G1 completion, reflecting the founder's tomorrow-morning request; it requires the user's chosen real decision and a bounded time allocation, not a second stack or a new monitoring routine. A substantial product-build priority/budget is still a founder choice.

Qualify Godz4's unpaid-chapter prototype: prepare a concrete complete experience before an offer, but do not invent a mandatory free public release or indefinite unpaid pilot. Retain the bounded paid-chapter default and later repeat-purchase evidence from R14. G2's useful legacy/provenance/voluntary-return hypotheses remain distinct; quiet recipient use and artistic/private creation stay legitimate. Curated publishing or sponsored access may be durable endpoints rather than failed stepping stones.

Do not silently push every source release into distant RESEARCH: preserve R20's conditional release of a bounded useful component with a working advertised workflow, exact-revision rights/privacy/distribution review and realistic support scope. It does not require revenue/network-effect proof. The engine, brand, license and actual maintained package remain undecided; gods-eye-view is a later candidate, not adopted infrastructure.

The final candidate should state a recommended path, its gates and live dissent—not force consensus on values. No approved price, deployment, launch, predictive-validity claim or user outcome can be inferred from thirty planning rounds.
