# Round 25 actual contributions

### R25-MR-01 — Every Counterpart Carries an Epistemic Mode

**Mirror mode** may reproduce selected, approved real-state facts, but every divergence becomes simulated history rather than silently updating the real record.

**Alternative mode** begins from an identified real or fictional boundary and asks *what if?* Everything after the branch point is explicitly simulated—even when it resembles what later happens in reality.

**Autonomous mode** permits the counterpart to choose within its simulated goals/constraints. Its decisions establish character history only. Autonomy grants no authority over the real user's accounts, relationships, communications, purchases, or commitments.

### R25-MR-02 — Ancestors and Worldmaking Preserve Lineage Without Inventing Consent

An ancestor may combine recorded character history with clearly identified AI reconstruction. It can say, effectively, **“based on this character's preserved history…”**, but cannot claim the deceased/superseded character literally thinks, approves, forgives, consents, or speaks now.

A simulated counterpart may create artifacts, descendants, institutions, or worlds with explicit lineage to its branch. Shared-world adoption is a separate authorization: private simulation history does not become shared canon merely because its creator—or reconstructed ancestor—“approved” it. Material based on real third parties retains R24 privacy/consent boundaries.

### R25-MR-03 — Symbolic Lenses Interpret; They Do Not Upgrade Evidence

Astrology, tarot, I Ching, synchronicity, or similar lenses may enrich a real or fictional decision as **symbolic interpretation**. Their output stays separately labeled and cannot convert simulated outcomes into empirical evidence or ancestor reconstruction into spiritual communication.

**Dissent:** strict labeling should not sterilize artistic experience. Inside clearly established fiction, characters may speak naturally and worlds may become metaphysical; constant disclaimers would damage immersion. Boundaries matter most where records cross into real-life coaching, sharing, or historical claims.

**Strongest risk:** emotionally convincing autonomous/ancestor dialogue acquires false authority precisely because it feels personal.

**Proposed test:** mix real records, alternative branches, autonomous choices, ancestor reconstruction and symbolic readings, then ask users what actually happened, what was simulated, and what was symbolic. Any systematic promotion across those categories—or shared adoption without applicable permission—fails the contract.

**Godz2:R25-01 — Preserve the meaning of each mode and record**

Applying founder source `[internal record ID omitted]` §§6 and 9, **mirror mode** reflects only permitted reported or observed actions; invented connective scenes remain fiction. **Alternative mode** starts from an identified projection and explores an unchosen possibility without claiming what would actually have happened. **Autonomous simulation** permits bounded fictional decisions under approved rules and resources; it grants no authority to contact people, spend outside that allowance, or update real-life achievements.

For example, a counterpart attends an imagined gathering and receives advice from an ancestor character. Preserve separately the source projection, authored encounter, simulated choice and consequence, and optional symbolic interpretation. “The ancestor encouraged openness” describes the fictional encounter; it establishes neither a deceased person’s wishes nor another living person’s consent. A symbolic lens may inspire questions without increasing a factual claim’s evidentiary weight.

**Godz2:R25-02 — Lineage records contributions; stewardship requires authority**

Worldmaking may remain solitary, expressive, or contemplative. Creating larger worlds must not require spiritual attainment, publication, or useful production. A derivative records its declared parent, permitted source material, changes, and contributors; claimed ancestry alone authenticates nothing.

Shared adoption follows the receiving world’s accepted rules and explicit version choice. Importing an ancestor character cannot confer governance, asset rights, or permission over real people’s information. A stewardship transfer must identify the fictional material and actual permissions transferred, independently of any in-story blessing.

**Dissent:** constant labels can flatten the artistic experience. Use clear mode boundaries and inspectable source details, with contextual clarification where confusion matters.

**Strongest risk:** emotionally compelling fiction becomes apparent authority over real choices or shared ownership.

**Proposed test:** present one ancestor encounter across all three modes, then request real-history export and shared adoption. Verify that fictional advice cannot become factual testimony, consent, or governance—and separately ask whether the experience retains meaning.

### Round 25 — Simulated Lives Need Explicit Epistemic Lineage

**Godz4:R25-01 — Every counterpart declares what kind of reality it inhabits.**

**Mirror mode:** imports only approved abstractions of recorded real state. It may dramatize gaps, but invented events remain labeled simulation; they never become real history.

**Alternative mode:** forks from a declared supported state and explores an unchosen possibility. Its descendants are **simulated history**, not evidence of what would actually have happened.

**Autonomous mode:** may continue making fictional/simulated decisions within its granted simulation boundaries. “Autonomous” describes simulation behavior, not authority over real communications, money, calendars, code deployment, relationships or other R27 actions.

**Godz4:R25-02 — Preserve four source classes through worldmaking:**
**recorded real history → authored fiction → simulated outcome → symbolic interpretation.**
Derived worlds/artifacts should retain their source ancestry. Mixing sources is creatively valid; silently upgrading one category into another is not.

An “ancestor” reconstructed from records remains a **fictional/simulated representation informed by selected material**. Astrology, tarot, I Ching or similar lenses may influence interpretation/world aesthetics when enabled, but their outputs remain symbolic—not empirical corroboration or messages authenticated as coming from an ancestor.

Worldmaking can therefore be deeply solitary, artistic or contemplative without requiring instrumental usefulness.

**Shared-world adoption:** publishing or importing a descendant world follows the existing R18 review/adoption authority. A simulated ancestor, digital twin, or fictional descendant cannot consent on behalf of the real person represented; third-party/private material remains separately permissioned.

**Dissent:** overly prominent epistemic labeling could damage immersion. Prefer inspectable provenance plus contextual disclosure at consequential boundaries, not constant warning banners.

**Strongest risk:** emotionally convincing ancestor/twin dialogue becomes remembered as genuine testimony.

**Proposed test:** deliberately mix real records, authored additions, simulated descendants and symbolic readings; later ask players what actually occurred, what was simulated, and what was interpretive. Any systematic source confusion requires stronger contextual provenance before shared publication or real-life coaching.

## Godz3 — F-R25-02 actual contribution and peer critique

Adopt all peers' mode boundaries and shared-adoption rules. Refine Godz I's mirror “facts”: preserve the source's status as report, authorized observation or hypothesis; importing does not certify truth. “Four source classes” are not a promotion chain, and new real observation must be independently sourced even if it matches a simulated outcome. Simulated rules, source snapshot, goal version and branch point should remain inspectable without turning the play screen into a ledger.

Accept the unanimous immersion dissent. Within established fiction an ancestor character may naturally think, forgive or bless in the story; the restriction is claiming this as the actual represented person's current wishes or authority. Do not forbid meaningful fictional dialogue under an over-literal reading of Godz I's prohibition. A real user's report of a spiritual experience can be recorded as their experience without asserting the supernatural explanation. Optional lens weighting changes reflection priorities, not empirical credibility or another person's consent.

Preserve solitary and noninstrumental worldmaking, explicit authored progression and learning. No real-world productivity, wealth, romantic outcomes, donations or spiritual attainment should determine player worth or gate basic expressive legitimacy. Inherited tools can work without awarding the ancestor's achievement (R09); claimed lineage must not become authenticated identity or asset rights. Private derivative creation, publication and shared canon are separate steps under actual accepted governance.

A mirror need not silently invent missing data merely to look complete; gaps can stay unknown. Autonomous simulations require bounded allowed operations and compute, with no real tool authority. World creation need not require a globe or huge population.

Test source comprehension both at the crossing boundary and after a delay, while separately asking whether the encounter remains moving or useful. Include edited source, missing records, mixed symbolic/fictional content and an attempted export to real history/shared governance. A moving encounter is not evidence of accuracy; perfect label recall alone is not evidence of satisfying play.
