# Listener · editing brief

Stable ID: PROP-001. A visual reference candidate, not a game mesh.

## Purpose

One compact tabletop receiver gives a prepared player a distinct way to compare recurring rain. It does not prove the world's hidden explanation. Baseline observation can still succeed without it.

## Editable source

`source/image.png` is the full-resolution visual reference. `source/original-prompt.txt` is the recorded generation prompt. `references/first-light.png` is the scene used for material direction. The original model version was not returned and is recorded as unknown.

No layered image source, mesh, rig or Blender file exists yet. Image tools can edit the PNG; a 3D tool must construct a model from the brief. Generated views are not dimensionally authoritative.

## Preserve

- One low walnut wedge base, modest palm-width brass acoustic cup, right-side calibration wheel, recessed ivory dial and front paper-trace slot.
- The same construction and silhouette in all four views. Keep warm wood and brass, restrained wear, dark blue framing and no green in this sheet.
- No screen, hologram, floating effects or invented completed gameplay state.
- Proposed envelope: 0.42 m wide × 0.28 m deep × 0.24 m high. Resolve the cup proportions before treating this as a model specification.
- Controls need reachable contacts and accessible readable information outside their textures.

## Make a revision

1. Verify the original kit with `python3 asset.py verify`.
2. Read `references/modeling-brief.md` and inspect the original PNG before editing.
3. Use an image editor or an explicitly authorized image-generation tool, providing the original PNG as the reference. Keep the change specific and compare the four views for consistency.
4. Save the edited result as `candidate-02/image.png`. Include `candidate-02/prompt.txt` with the exact prompt if AI was used, and `candidate-02/review.md` explaining what changed and what remains uncertain.
5. Run `python3 asset.py revision --candidate candidate-02 --summary "Describe the actual change" --tool "Name the editor used"`. Add `--model` only when an actual model identifier is known.
6. Return the candidate directory with `revision.json` through the studio workflow in AGENTS.md.

The helper checks file integrity and PNG identification, not visual consistency. Inspect the image in a real image viewer. Creating a 3D mesh is a separate deliverable; retain this reference and record it as the mesh's dependency. No image API is connected by this archive.
